Richard Burge 
Managing Principal
Richard took over the reins at WHK Wellington on 1 January 2011 and will drive the Wellington operation with his vast knowledge, experience and passion since joining the firm 14 years ago. He will continue his involvement with the Tax Division and will be responsible for the firms expansion and growth in the years to come. Prior to joining WHK Richard's experience comes from many years with the Inland Revenue Department where he developed tax effective commercial solutions and assisted clients in their dealings with Inland Revenue.
He also has considerable experience with the offering of securities to the public, including the preparation of prospectuses in compliance with securities law, regulations and financial reporting standards. Richard is a regular presenter and author on tax related topics and has had many articles published in industry publications.
Richard is also responsible for the general accounting and commercial needs of many of our clients.
