Mike brings to his position over 20 years of tax specialist consulting, including: with Inland Revenue, in areas ranging from investigations to team leading, management, policy development and adjudication/rulings; with Deloitte, consulting to large domestic and international corporate organisations and central government agencies; and with a wider public sector specialist consultancy, extending into education, local government, council controlled organisations and public private partnerships.
Mike has a particular and deep expertise in all aspects of GST and indirect taxes, from working with sectors from finance and insurance, retail and manufacturing, oil and mining, land development and social housing, to multinationals, corporates, venture capital funds, departments, ministries, crown entities, local government and not for profits.
