Rob returned to WHK in 1981 after two years in Bermuda with Coopers and Lybrand, working for international clients. On his return he ran his own retail business in Nelson for four years.

Rob is a Chartered Accountant and provides clients with pro-active advice, making suggestions rather than waiting to be asked. He regularly advises on the acquisition or disposal of large commercial properties and works with major clients in the fishing and retail industry.  A large proportion of the advice he provides is to offshore clients and new residents.

Rob is Chairman of the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust, Treasurer of Nelson Deerstalkers, Treasurer of the Nelson Club, Past Treasurer of Tasman Bay Cruising Club and Nelson Underwater Club.
