John Murray

John joined WHK in 2001 as Senior Business Adviser. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and prior to joining WHK, John was Senior Manager at a Nelson law firm.  He has previously worked as a Business Development Manager, a Business Manager at BNZ and Audit Manager with Audit New Zealand.

John provides clients with a wide range of business advice to assist them in improving the profitability and efficiency of their businesses. This includes directorships, strategic planning, marketing plans, management advice and systems reviews.  He has also been involved with local Iwi and the land claim settlement.

He is actively involved in the local business community as a previous Councillor of the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Chartered Accountants and is the Vice President of the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce.
