Brent joined Hintons in June 1997 when he moved to Nelson from Napier.  He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, becoming a member in March 1991. He studied for eight years at the Hawkes Bay Polytechnic and Open Polytech on a part time basis while working full time.

His experience is in accounting, business development, taxation and audit.  Brent is on the Swimming Nelson Marlborough Board.
