In conjunction with carbon management consultancy, Offset the Rest, WHK has been working with clients over the last year to certify them as "Carbon Conscious" businesses. This means they have taken responsibility for their carbon emissions by undertaking a 3-step process of (1) measuring their carbon footprint; (2) implementing carbon reduction initiatives; and (3) offsetting their unavoidable emissions.

In response to the positive feedback from our clients, WHK and Offset the Rest are pleased to announce a second certification option is now available. Businesses can now be certified "Carbon Accounted". This certification option is a 2-step process of (1) measuring their carbon footprint; and (2) implementing carbon reduction initiatives. There is no requirement to offset any carbon emissions.

Given the enormous challenge that climate change poses worldwide, there are still many businesses throughout New Zealand wanting to take responsibility for their own emissions. Undergoing an independent certification process, conducted in accordance with the highest international standards, demonstrates to the public that your business is committed to minimising the impact of its emissions on the environment.
