Business Clubs

This is an exclusive peer support programme which brings together small groups of business owners who share a common interest.  These special interest groups are facilitated by one of our advisers and are designed to share insights, inject a fresh perspective and generate creative solutions to common business problems.

This exclusive peer support programme tackles real management and leadership issues.
The overall direction of each business club is determined by the participants involved.  This approach means that the specific needs of participants will be met.

WHK Business Clubs are designed around three core principles:

1. There are significant challenges facing New Zealand's businesses in the current environment.
2. The knowledge of how to deal with these challenges lies within those who are closest to these problems and most affected, that is, the owners and managers of these businesses.
3. It is useful for groups of business owners and managers, in similar but non competitive groups, to use creative problem solving techniques to generate and share breakthrough solutions to these issues.
   

How the Business Clubs Work
Each business club can be composed of 5-10 carefully selected business owners who are continually confronted with management and leadership challenges.  Group members will have the opportunity to develop an ongoing relationship, meeting once a month for a two hour facilitated session.

Sessions are designed to:

• Work on live issues and projects
• Generate creative solutions to real problems Provide a new perspective
• Assistance developing practical skills and approaches that can be used straight away.
