Marilyn has been with the firm for over 10 years and prior to this had 15 years experience at Inland Revenue.

Marilyn has experience in the following areas:

• employer related taxes especially FBT
• entertainment expenditure
• auditing matters relating to Inland Revenue

She also has experience with business structures, GST, generalised income tax queries, and land transactions.

Marilyn provides tax advice on a huge range of areas from simple payroll/ FBT queries to land transactions and international tax issues. It is an essential part of her position to prepare tax opinions for clients on tax and asset planning. In the past she has completed file reviews and suggested appropriate structures for businesses.

She also helps to prepare tax returns for clients and assists with clients' issues in relation to IRD audits, including voluntary disclosures and NOPA's.
