WHK is a long time sponsor of the Tour of Southland (30 October - 5 November 2011), which is New Zealand's premier road cycling tour event.

In addition, WHK will be supporting Team Calder Stewart and its fantastic line-up of riders.  Team Calder Stewart comprises of: Hayden Roulston (Tour of Southland defending champion and current National Road Cycling Champ), Marc Ryan, Sam Bewley, Jason Allen, Jason Christie and Jeremy Vennell.

WHK is sponsoring Stage 4 from Tuatapere to Te Anau on Wednesday 2nd November. This exciting 100km tour stage via Blackmount is both gruelling and unpredictable, particularly when combined with Southland weather.
We invite you to come and join the crowd and excitement in the Te Anau Town Centre at approximately 3.30pm, to see who crosses the line to win the stage.  The following day’s route, from Te Anau to the Crown Range, a huge Stage 5 distance of 175 kms, is also extremely challenging and will see riders pushed to their limit.
