Christmas Food Bank Donation

WHK has continued its tradition of making a substantial donation to the Christmas Food Bank rather than print festive cards. This gesture is appreciated by the growing number of people who need extra support at this time of the year.
We are also aware that a large number of our clients are affected either directly or indirectly with the effects of cancer. As well as participating in the Cancer Society's Relay for Life event, WHK Invercargill was the main sponsor of the WHK Cancer Society Ball in June that raised over $20,000. We have also made donations to the Presbyterian Support Southland to help assist with hampers for their needy clients. We have also donated to such causes as Prostate Cancer, Movember, SPCA and Hospice with their Rocking with the Stars Contest.


Over Christmas and the New Year, our offices will be closed as follows:


Invercargill, Gore, Winton, Te Anau, Alexandra, Wanaka
Closes: 1:00pm Friday 23rd December 2011
Opens: 8:00am Monday 16th January 2012 (only some staff)
Fully re-opens Monday 23rd January 2012
