Janice Atkinson CA, CPP

Senior Business Adviser

Janice has 22 years' experience as a practicing certified accountant.  She has previously been a partner in other accounting firms, including her own practice Atkinson and Associates, which she set up in 1993.  This firm expanded and re-branded to become Atkinson, Shepherd Hensman in 1998.  Janice has also held a role as company director/CEO in a successful business manufacturing and exporting large machinery for the horticultural industry.

Janice joined WHK in 2007 as a senior business adviser.  She specialises in business advice relating to all aspects of business including structuring/ taxation/ and actual day to day general business issues.  She has significant expertise helping clients to identify their goals, and their choices, and help them to achieve them. Some of the client industries she has worked in include farming, horticulture, agriculture, medical, exporting, manufacturing, engineering, retail and building to name just a few.

Janice's coal face experience in running a successful company gives her a high level of practical knowledge to advise her clients in making their own businesses highly successful.  Janice is a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.
