Did you know Multiple Sclerosis (MS) affects women more than men?
MS is a disorder of the central nervous system (CNS) which includes the brain and spinal cord and optic nerves. Its most commonly diagnosed between ages 20 to 40. The cause of MS is still unknown, and researchers are still working on a cure.
Without public support, the valuable work by MSNZ would not be possible. WHK is proud to support the Multiple Sclerosis Society by way of a cash contribution. This donation will help the local MS Society continue providing on-going support to local members and their families.
MS Awareness Week 29th August – 4th September 2011
