This workshop creates an understanding of how branding helps you stand out in crowded offshore markets. We will consider what your brand needs to stand for, how to apply the rules of branding, and work through practical exercises that will help develop your offshore branding strategy.

• Using the rule of singularity to focus your brand
• Generate names and bylines that connect to global markets
• Protecting your brand offshore, including trademark protection
• How to use your "silent salesperson", logos and packaging to help you communicate and stand out
• The power of credentials and identifying the credentials you need to succeed offshore
• The importance of publicity to build your brand, and considerations when developing a publicity plan offshore

Relevant examples of New Zealand and international brands that have succeeded offshore are included to help illustrate the power of branding strategies. This workshop is suitable for new exporters, and existing exporters looking to improve their branding strategies.

Dianne is an experienced presenter, advisor and has walked the talk. Since retiring from the role of Principal, Dianne has continued to mentor business owners on their branding strategies.  She is currently a board member of Fashion Industry New Zealand.
